Coptic-Care, Inc is a nonprofit, Public Charity organization exempt from Federal income tax under 501(c) (3) of the Internal revenue Code incorporated in the state of Connecticut since 1994.

Coptic-Care has the responsibility of social development activities specially with the vulnerable women , children and youth covering projects initiated by the people themselves starting from Egypt and reaching Middle East and Africa

In Egypt, the Coptic Orthodox Church is developing in a number of areas to meet both its spiritual and social responsibilities. It has always been a part of the Egyptian legacy, taking a leading role in building the nation in activities such as training and empowerment, formal and informal education, healthcare, social services for the needy, community development and literacy campaigns. These are just some of its many areas of activity. This pilot organization came about as a result of the needs of people in rural and slum areas to find ways and means which would offer them opportunities to improve their living patterns for a more humane standard of living.
