1. Nurseries & kindergarten
Early childhood is very important in shaping a personality. DSSA establishes nurseries, kindergartens, summer schools and tutoring classes in low-income areas.

4. Revolving loans
Instead of giving the needy a fish, teach him how to fish and give him a fishing tool. Building capacity & empowering people by a small loan will enable them to earn their own income.

2. Help organization
Help promote gender equality and advocate for women’s rights. Seminars, roundtable discussions & training on different skills for different age groups are offered.

5. PLC – Port Said Learning Center
Languages, computer & soft skills courses for adults to secure decent jobs are offered.
Conversation classes are taught by native-speaking teachers to help children acquire the language with a good accent.

3. St. Marina Girls & St. Verena Home
Nurturing homes for those who have no home or family temporarily or permanently.
-St. Maringa girls receive health, education and employment services.
-St. Verena offers rehabilitation services for girls with disabilities.

6. Job fairs
Creating job opportunities, linking potential employees to prospective employers and securing jobs on the spot. In one day 6000 prospective employees were present at the fair and some of them got hired.
